Post-ICA conference

Just a brief note to say thank you to everyone who attended the book launch and visited Peter Lang’s stall at the ICA conference. By all accounts the book was popular with the publisher selling out within the first day and a half of the conference!

If you have not already picked up a copy or placed an order at the conference, you can of course order the book online or from the Peter Lang 2009 Spring Catalog.

There will also be a meet and greet with authors and editors of new books. Stuart Allan will be available at 14:00 on the Thursday to talk about Citizen Journalism: Global Perspectives.

Our aim was to make Citizen Journalism: Global Perspectives cover as many crisis, national and global contexts as possible. Although we feel the book has a broad spectrum, it is inevitably constrained by the limitations of print based media. We therefore invite everyone to add their own perspectives or case studies using this website, and extend or contribute to the debate on those perspectives already uploaded.
