Citizen Journalism: Global Perspectives

Amanda Lee Hughes is a doctoral student in Computer Science at the University of Colorado at Boulder and also holds an ME in Computer Science. She is a research assistant in Palen’s ConnectivIT lab and has published papers in crisis informatics. Her research focuses on designing and building technologies that gather and interpret online information in times of crises.
