Citizen Journalism: Global Perspectives

Einar Thorsen is Senior Lecturer in Multimedia Journalism at the University of Teesside, and a PhD candidate in Journalism Studies at Bournemouth University, UK. His thesis examines citizen voices on the BBC News website during the 2005 UK general election and is funded by the AHRC. Recent articles focus on Wikinews and the Neutral Point of View, the history of BBC News Online, and the development of public service policies in an online environment.
