Stuart Allan

Stuart Allan is Professor of Journalism in the Media School, Bournemouth University, UK. He is the author of News Culture (1999; 2nd ed. 2004), Media, Risk and Science (2002), Online News: Journalism and the Internet (2006); and co-author, with Donald Matheson, of Digital War Reporting (2009). His previous edited collections include Journalism After September 11 (2002; with Barbie Zelizer), Reporting War: Journalism in Wartime (2004; with Zelizer) and Journalism: Critical Issues (2005).
