Citizen Journalism: Global Perspectives

Olga Guedes Bailey is Senior Lecturer at Nottingham Trent University, UK. She is the chair of the section “Migration, Diaspora and Media” of the European Communication Research and Education Association—ECREA. Her latest publications include a co-authored book, Understanding Alternative Media (Open University, 2007) and an edited collection, Transnational Lives and the Media: Re-imagining Diasporas (Palgrave, 2007). She is currently working on her book Media and Ethnicity: Representation and Resistance.
